Small and intimate, all our meals were tasty and well prepared. I was surprised that all the table appeared to be reserved as we arrived for an early dinner, but the place was full by the end and even midweek, this ski area seems to have more fine dining options that the size would suggest.
Every dinner we had here was not only delicious, but beautifully plated. Sauces were exquisitely on point, wines by the glass were outstanding, and recommendations from the server Sam Gabriels were well-informed AND delicious. Manager Jon Mudder has crafted an experience that complements the traditional St. Bernard yet is at a similarly high level of quality and care. AND desserts are absolutely delicious (but I’ve forgotten the dessert chef’s name). THANK YOU!
Lets face it, the TSV has very few restaurants and most of them are bigger on atmosphere that food quality. The Blonde Bear is up a notch on atmosphere and service, and several notches up on food/wine. Shout out to Sam for his excellent service!
We had our Anniversary celebration there and had a great experience.. I recommend the Fillet and the Merryvale Pinot.
